South Korean sports-tech startup REVION used the players’ real-world measurements, 3D hand scans and fitting data in the development of REVION Grip, wearable performance gear designed for the space between the hand and the mouse. REVION is preparing to launch the product globally on Kickstarter in October 2026.
PC gamers routinely upgrade mice, keyboards, monitors and mousepads. The hand, however, usually stays bare. REVION sees that default as an overlooked part of the PC gaming setup: its first competitor is not another glove, but the bare hand.
“Gamers already optimize the equipment around their hands. We asked why the space between the hand and the mouse should remain unchanged,” said Ick-Joo Lee, Founder and CEO of REVION. “We started with the actual hands of Korea’s national players and brought those measurements into a product players can wear.”
REVION is an official partner of Team Korea of Esports, South Korea’s national esports team managed by the Korea e-Sports Association (KeSPA). The company measured and 3D-scanned all six League of Legends players selected to represent South Korea at the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games and applied their hand-shape and fitting data to REVION Grip’s fit, pattern and contact design. Its development cycle connects hand measurement, material and pattern research, fitting, and fit, wear and contact testing. Designed initially for right-handed PC players who use a palm grip, REVION Grip also takes into account heat, sweat and mousepad friction during extended play.
